HOW TO REMOVE BIOS PASSWORD IN HP AND COMPAQ 610 SERIES Bio password can be a series headache within the actual. Password is last or forgotten. Some website will offer to give you master password with some dollars, some will ask you to change the bios security chips. But I can offer the master password for free. But I want to show how to remove it without stress. All you need is a piece of striped wire. Now this is what you are going to do. Remove the battery because all you need is the charger. Loose the small cover near the Ram-cover and remove the Cmos battery. The battery contact has about six points but all you need is to identify the first and the last pin and power on the laptop and you will see the power on password is gone.

    the only small cover that i can only see is the one for wireless adpter, cant seem to find the one for CMOS battrey.

    I can see the RAM window but I don't seethe CMOS battery. Also what do you do with the stripped cable. Thanks for trying.
